About this Workshop

AI certainly looms big in the news today. And it should because the technology demonstrates that it can continue to aid and support human decision making and judgment more accurately and effectively than when we don’t have access to its power. But the pace of the development of its increasingly complex and sophisticated behaviors make more than a few of us wonder if we are not heading toward the obsolescence of humans. In this short discussion, I present the case for optimism that human contribution to the continued evolution of AI is necessary as long as we understand why and how to keep humans in the loop.
