Framing β Risk Management Starts Here
All six elements of Decision Quality (DQ) are required to achieve high decision quality, but a high-quality frame is essential for properly defining and evaluating the right problem or opportunity.
The frame is the foundation of a decision. Insufficient frame clarity risks addressing the wrong problem or failing to properly evaluate the opportunity.
This presentation will describe how eliciting objectives and challenging assumptions helps unpack the decision to develop a clear and robust frame. This allows for activities to better support the other 5 DQ elements and to achieve high decision quality when a decision is made. In addition, separating the problem into its component parts helps uncover risks and fosters the development of comprehensive risk management strategies.
