David R. Koenig

David R. Koenig is the award-winning author of both Governance Reimagined: Organizational Design, Risk, and Value Creation, The Board Member’s Guide to Risk, and God's Portfolio: An Examination of the I, the We, the All (and then some). He has served on both for-profit and non-profit boards and as a chief executive officer. He created corporate risk management programs at three different companies and has managed complex financial portfolios of tens of billions of dollars in size. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Risk Management in Financial Institutions and the Economics Advisory Board of Miami University's Farmer School of Business. He is the President and CEO of The DCRO Institute, the founder of the Directors and Chief Risk Officers group (the DCRO), and a co-founder of the Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA).
