Analytical and risk management techniques are important success factors in addressing the major challenges facing our societies, as long as these methods are used ethically and responsibly. Universities play a significant role in creating the world of tomorrow, as well as in training the next generation who will make a difference. Whether through simulations or decision trees, machine learning or statistics, it is necessary to ensure that organizational decision-making is supported by evidence, rigorous methods and a solid understanding of risks. What excites me on a daily basis is working collaboratively to solve challenges, to see people grow and to make things better.
